The legs are tired, but breathing is fine. Sounds familiar? Well, I did mention this sometime back when I was RPM-ing alot, with my thighs seemingly feeling bulkier due to the extended time I've been spending on the stationary bike, which is good for the cardiovascular endurance but not necessarily a replacement for running fast. The best workout for running is still running itself, but working out on a stationary bike does have its advantages and is otherwise an excellent cross trainer.
My legs are tired not because of cycling- its because of the added mileage I've been putting in in recent months, as evidenced by my recent "workout reports". I've been making weekly trips to the foot reflexology centre at Bangsar called Chow Yang. Although their forte is foot reflexology, they do massage the legs as well. And these guys are really good. I find that the legs are a tad sore before I start my runs, but a little stretching and warm-up eases the soreness and I'm ready to go. The soreness becomes very apparent as I near the end of my workout, which has been around the 15k mark. Looks like I'll be making a trip to Chow Yang again this weekend.
Workout for today- Carcosa loop (5.5k) + 2.3km x 5 loops= 17km.
Yesterday- forced rest. The weather wasn't kind, and I had to head to my folks'place for an early dinner at 7pm.
Tuesday- Carcosa loop + 2.3km + 2.8km x 3 loops- 16.2km.
On a side note, the exams are just a week away and I spend most of the day studying. I truly hope for a mere pass, and nothing else.
I also had my daughter's passport made today at the Immigration. I must say that service was courteous, efficient and fast. Kudos and this is how a government department should run.

I agree. You're still not very fit!
