Sunday's planned workout with Ronnie was dashed as the heavens chose to open up at the most inopportune of times- approximately 20 minutes before we started. After a brief exchange of texts, we decided not to go to Lake Gardens, ruing the fact of another day lost without running. I decided to head to my parents' house in Subang at 5pm. On my way there, I couldn't help but notice the clearer skies along the New Pantai Expressway. Thankfully, I brought along my running gear because from the wet roads along Sunway, it was apparent that it had rained earlier in that area and it looked like the skies were clear for now. I arrived in Subang around 530pm, and after a little chit chat with my folks, I put on my running gear and headed out the door at 630pm. Put in 11ks worth before having dinner. I started off easy but was running at my planned race pace towards the last half.

Monday I ran alone at Lake Gardens, taking the full Carcosa route plus 2 loops around the Lake. Total 10k. It was a very, very easy pace as the legs and mind were tired.

Plan today is to run with the gang. No idea what the mileage is.
