Left KL on Tuesday morning and it was heart wrenching to leave my wife and daughter behind. I have developed a soft spot for Mia so quickly, but what can I say- she's my little girl. Aside from the stop at the Pagoh rest area where I had the tasty nasi lemak packet from store number 10 called "Bumbu Kito", the bus ride was otherwise uneventful as I continued studying.
Just completed day 1 of my examinations today, and I'm not entirely optimistic. The answers were all in my head, ready to fire out quick rapid succession but alas, the writing hand would not follow. So many things to write, too little time. 2 hours was not quite enough. I can only hope that I've answered the questions enough to scrape through. Felt somewhat lousy after the end of the exam at 3pm, which culminated in me walking aimlessly around the Orchard area. Well, what is done is done. I have to concentrate on the 2 remaining exams- 1st Dec and 3rd Dec. Reached home around 830pm, and I decided that one way to get out of this funk was to run! After messing about for an hour or so, I finally headed out the door before 950pm and ran 10km. Nothing like a run to release the feelgood endorphins.
My wife has decided to make her way down to Singapore together with Mia. Can't wait to see them! It'll be just us, one small happy family. After the Singapore Marathon, we will make our way back to KL on Monday, 8th December. As Bill Rodgers would say, See you on the roads!
