Tapering continues

Monday evening I ran 4 laps around the lake with Ronnie and Lai. The last 2 laps were run quite hard. Good final all-out run. Total, approx 10km.

Tuesday evening we had the privilege of Kenny to run with us. He has been busy- attending church camp in Genting Highlands for 5 days, and a host of other activities. It was me, Ronnie, Lai and Kenny. As was his wont, Kenny chatted away with his life stories while we listened. Effort-wise, I made sure that I ran really easy this time due to the exertions of Monday evening. It was tempting to go hard again, though. For the sake of my tapering I reined in my eagerness to run hard. I ran a 2 lapper round the lake, followed by some stretches. In the evening, I spent some 40 minutes self-massaging my legs.

Plan today- another easy 2 laps, followed by some strides. I also plan to get as much sleep as I possibly can in the next few days, going to bed early. I might probably not sleep too well the night before the race, so I think its appropriate that I get some rest before the big day.
