Man U are edging ever closer to the title

I was back in KL again over the weekend. As usual my weekends in KL are typically rushed, with little sleep, and trying to divide the time spent with Mrs Rabbit, my parents and my in-laws. I also had a birthday party to attend. Which left me no time to do any workouts. Monday to Friday wasn't too bad as far as workouts are concerned. On all days I have either managed a double workout (lunchtime and evening workout), or at least a singular workout (either lunchtime or evening). Which is good because I spent the weekend gorging on food, and I have (hopefully) burnt enough calories from Monday to Friday to do a little indulging. As a homegrown KL-ite, I have of course become accustomed to the food there and still find it difficult to completely stomach the local hawker fare here in Singapore. To put it diplomatically, it is just different. The Western food here wins hands down, however.

I took the 7pm bus back to Singapore on Sunday and arrived back in time to catch the 2nd half of the Man U-Arsenal game. I'm happy! Man U took a giant step towards retaining their Premier League title. From what I read, Arsenal dominated the first half and were well worth their efforts when they scored first in the 2nd half (despite Adebayor's blatant handball). But déjà vu struck again when they conceded a penalty at the other end some 6 minutes later. Up stepped Cristiano Ronaldo, who despatched the penalty with aplomb but wait! The referee ordered the penalty be re-taken again due to an infringement by Park Ji-Sung. At that point, I was really nervous because it would have taken nerves of steel to re-take that penalty- and score. That he did! 2nd goal was just pure class. Owen Hargreaves, from about 20 yards out sweetly struck the freekick over the wall to make it 2-1.

Had a decent last 2 days of workout, considering. A lunchtime 35 minutes run followed up with an hour long RPM challenge class. Today was a 50 minute RPM class. Had to rush home early today as Mrs Rabbit isn't well.

On a separate note, I spoke to Kenny Tan (pm27) today. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, bro.

Catch ya later...
