Saturday evening
Went to One Utama to watch Chicken Little with the wife. Chicken Little was quite disappoting, if you compare it with the rest- Toy Story (1 & 2), Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Shrek (1). My opinion is that Chicken Little borrowed the formula from those cartoons, in some way or the other. Still, it is entertaining enough for the kids, who will probably not look into this matter anyway!
I also purchased the original Revenge of the Sith dvd. I was more concerned with the 2nd disc- being the special features, and an inside look on how the movie was made. That in itself was entertaining enough. I was surprised that it was priced only at RM69.90- the previous instalments of Episodes 1 and 2, which if I recall also contained 2 discs, was priced well above RM100.
I also saw light sabers on sale, at Ultimate Toys. I didn't know they opened a branch at One Utama. The light saber was priced at RM550!!! Really expensive but the saber looks very real- it has the heavy metal weight, combined with the light saber sounds when you switch it on. I already have 3 lightsabers, actually, but they are made of plastic. One is Obi-Wan's, the other is Darth Vader's and finally, Darth Maul's. All look quite plastic, and if I recall cost below RM100 when I bought it. The price notwithstanding, I am tempted to buy it.
