Final run

I just received (unconfirmed) news that Kimberly has won gold in the triathlon event of the SEA Games. If that is true, CONGRATULATIONS! I have seen first hand her speed in running, and she is absolutely phenomenal. I really respect her abilities. I don't know how much she trains, but rumour has it that it is 3 times a day. For mere mortals like me, I have run in or around the same group as her during track sessions. But that is when she is NOT running that hard. Haha. She joined us at track only recently, and I suppose I'm a tad shy to talk to her. Champion mah! I'm just a runner...

Anyway, one last run for me yesterday- I ran about 15k in Lake Gardens. Kenny was supposed to join me but couldn't make it in the last minute. A pretty decent workout. I feel alright.

Dinner at my parents' house last night was cut short because the wife came back early and I brought some food home for her. I had to bring work home as well! Certainly there are some things to clear up before my trip.

Plans for tonight- if I manage to get off work early-ish (unsure as yet because der Boss wants to discuss work with me around 5pm) I will go for a haircut. Then, off to Subang for dinner, before meeting Jamie for drinks and a chat on some finalities before the marathon. Thereafter I might go and meet another friend of mine to test run an equipment.

Anyway this may be my final posting for the week, until Monday. Those running in Singapore this weekend, ROCK Singapore!
