I am suffering from a serious case of Monday Blues. It has been quite a while since I last felt this way. There are no particular incidents that led to this feeling, but the negativity crept in slowly and surely, culminating in how I feel at the moment. Blah. In my mind, February is dragging along extremely slowly although there are supposed to be only 29 days.
I had a pretty good weekend, although it was somewhat financially extravagant, at least by my standards. On Saturday, I spent some money on breakfast and tea time; played some tennis ; cycled for 1.5 hours, before heading to the Sentosa Boardwalk for a very nice dinner, paid for by friends (unexpected but nice, obviously); there were fireworks and a "crane dance" as well . On Sunday we went shopping and I bought another pair of Nike Lunaracers that happened to be on sale. The way I see it, if there is a pair of shoes that you really like, buy 'em especially when they are on sale because you never know if they will continue to produce them. This is especially in the case of the Lunaracers. I bought a pair of tennis shorts too. I have already spent too much this month, buying a tennis racket too as my interest in tennis was re-ignited after watching the Australian Open.
Valentine's is next Tuesday but there are no plans to go out and celebrate, at least on the night itself as prices will be ludicrously high. I plan to take Mrs Rabbit out on the weekend instead, on 17th/18th February.
Have a good week ahead.
