Happy New Year everyone. I hope you had a nice break and feel ready and recharged to start 2012. I had a decent break but as always, it was never long enough and I am feeling the Monday Blues...blah. I spent the break catching up on sleep, spending time with my family, running and indulging a little bit on food. Running-wise, the mileage has not been particularly high (between 6 to 8km per run), but what I lacked in distance, I made up for it in intensity. From 23rd December to 1st January, I ran on all dates but 30th December. My perceived level of exertion for the runs were approximately 85%.
Anyway, back to reality. A necessity as we all need to make ends meet. I dream of a time when I can be financially free, and I am working towards that goal, but I need to put in the hard work, save money, and invest it wisely over a period of the next few years.
