Can't wait for mid-July

Decided against utilising the MC despite the overwhelming desire to sleep in (and probably sleep the whole day) when I woke up this morning. So here I am at work. My ear is still ringing and head spinning when I move. Dr Pang Kuan Yu reckoned it might be a case of tinnitus. I looked it up in Wikipedia and the symptoms certainly are there, although no mention was made about my dizziness. In any event, I’ve been prescribed Ginkosen and Vertigon, both of which are supposed to alleviate what I’m feeling. I hope this passes quickly. Its been a month since arriving here in Singapore and I’ve already been ill twice. No good.

Maybe my resistance isn’t good. I need to fortify my defences with vitamins and nutrients. I’ve been trying to make a point of eating more veg and fruits in the last few days. My diet has been bad since arriving here. It may be a lame excuse that I’m not settled in and hence I haven’t been eating well but hopefully, once I’m truly settled in I’ll buy more fresh salads and fruits to store in the fridge. Oh yeah, and Florida’s Natural orange juice. Dollar for dollar, it is cheaper than KL. I used to guzzle it back in my uni days, but it costs almost RM20 in KL, which is a ridiculous price to pay for a carton of orange juice.

I feel my fitness seeping away as my workouts have reduced to 3 times weekly, half an hour each (on the basis of last week’s workout). With my condition this week, I can barely walk for 5 minutes without experiencing the world around me spinning. Again, I hope this passes sooner rather than later and after moving I can get back into the groove of my workouts again.

On a more positive note, my salary has come in!
