Terence Leong, Rest In Peace

I received 2 smses from my running friends- one from Jamie, the other from Tan Khee Meng, who informed me that Terence Leong, founder of the KL Penguins, a k a Penguin 6, has passed away. Now, I may not have known him well enough- I've spoken to him probably only twice- but I do visit his blog time and again, and when he was still active, I did see him in races. From his writing and from my own observation, he seemed like a very jovial, gregarious, jocular fella. And he's popular too. dR described Terence as "a devoted father, friend and runner". The running and triathlon community certainly have lost a great person, a wonderful human being. My condolences to his family and my heart goes out to them.

I think dR summed it up best in his email- "But knowing Terence, he'd want us to be happy and accept this as part of Life."
