Justin pretty much updated me on last week’s workouts, which consisted of the following:- Wednesday was an easy 10k. On Thursday coach didn’t turn up again! We all speculated that he must be busy organizing the Kenyir Triathlon which was on Sunday. So, with no one to dish out the pain on us, the Pain Master Ronnie See decided to dish out the menu- 1000m x 10! It seemed pretty daunting at the time but Justin decided to go ahead anyway. 1000m splits between 3:57 to 4:02 were recorded, but the repetitions fell short of 10. We managed to complete 8 instead. Still, a pretty demanding schedule and we were all pretty tired from the workout. We chatted for awhile after that but Justin had to leave early while pm20 completed his warm down lap. Justin was heading to Ipoh the next morning and he hasn’t packed yet! Why Ipoh? 2 reasons- to make a customary “hello” visit to the branch in Ipoh, and secondly to attend and provide support to his boss at an all day training session on Saturday.
