The damn haze!

The haze has been absolutely horrendous. I don't care who caused it- fingers have been pointed, excuses made- but this really has to stop. Do we have to expect that in August onwards of every year, we will be experiencing the haze, like the monsoon season? This is a man-made envireonmental disaster! It's always a RE-active thing as opposed to a PRO-active thing. For the rest of the year, the fact that the haze has blanketed Malaysia for a few months previously is conveniently forgotten, until it comes again. It must stop once and for all! Forget the niceties! Dispense with the pleasantries! The health of everyone is at stake, and steps must be taken to completely eradicate this menace!

Anyway it's pointless to do any running out there- we might as well be smoking cigarettes.

Was in Singapore from Wednesday onwards and came back to KL on Saturday evening. The hotel I stayed at had a gym, so, despite the haze in Singapore, I managed to put in some substantial mileage on the treadmill.

Anyway, no running outside for me today, unless by some miracle, there's a heavy rainfall which completely rids the haze. Will be at the gym today.
