How dare you say that my behaviour's unacceptable?
I don't know if many of you read Runner's World. Being the runners that we are, I would assume that you do sometimes read Runner's World. Anyway the magazine has been reproducing excerpts from the upcoming (or has it been released yet??) book by former Olympian Kenny Moore, titled Bowerman. Bill Bowerman was coach to the late Steve Prefontaine, and inventor/founder of a certain shoe company known as Nike. The excerpts are nothing short of inspiring. The stories of Kenny Moore's relationship with Bill Bowerman, even Bill Bowerman's relationship with Steve Prefontaine, make for wonderful reading. I spoke with Ajeep yesterday and he was really interested in getting the book as well. I can't wait for the book to come out. When I was in Singapore last month, I went to the Border's book store but it wasn't on the shelves as yet. Anwyay do look out for it. I know I will.
I ran for 45 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, at a 6 min per k pace. Left the office at 8:00pm and ran around 8:30pm, before having a pretty late dinner.
Thankfully Thursday is already here.
Bring on Friday evening...
