Horny Cordys
Met up with Kenny Tan for our run at Lake Gardens yesterday. The plan was to run the usual 3 loops. Once we started, Kenny was his usual chatty self, filling me in with stories. Past the windy Carcosa road and back into the Lake, onto the public toilet by the Lake, I saw Kit some 100 meters away, running in the opposite direction. As he approached, we asked him to join us, and he obliged. It's good to have the company of another runner to run the mileage with you, because training does get a bit boring at times and having some good company will really help pass the time. True enough, we completed the 1st loop. Kit has been in hard training for the Singapore full and has lost about 5kgs in the process. Not to put pressure any on Kit, but I think he'll PR in Singapore! Hahaha. Anyway the 2nd loop passed by quickly and we were well on our way to run the 3rd loop, but something was really bugging me as we completed the 2nd loop- my stomach. I felt the sudden urge to answer the call of nature- the MAJOR call of nature, not something that one can do behind the bushes (unless one's in the jungle of course). Regretfully, I had to stop my workout and head to Lake Club to do my business (which was a ton!). By then it was already 715pm and I had to head home(I had planned to complete my workout by 730pm anyway) because I had a dinner appointment with Mrs Rabbit and some friends. We were due to watch the 1st episode of the Amazing Race because one of our mutual friends is in it.
So, the grand total for yesterday- 11km or so.
I'm hoping my bowels will behave themselves because I plan to run at least 15k today.
