Vanessa from TRL is hot

Just when I thought that things couldn’t get any worse, it did.

At 1030pm last night, driving the spare car home, I heard an unusual loud rolling sound as I was driving on the highway across Eastin Hotel.  I slowed down and stopped the car just before the toll plaza.  I got out and checked- it was a flat tyre.  At the left rear of the car.

It being a station wagon, I didn’t know where the spare tyre was and I had to check the car manual, which thankfully, was located at the glove compartment.  How many of us keep the manual there?  I know I don’t. Mine is somewhere at home.  Anyway the manual says that it is located underneath the rear of the car.  I had to use a spanner to unlock the tyre.  As I was doing so, the Plus Peronda fellas stopped behind me and offered to help, which I gratefully obliged.  Jeanne then arrived shortly after and it was decided that I drive her car instead, since the tyres had to be replaced.  So, I switched cars again.

After all that last night, I arrived home at 1120pm.  I went to bed around 1150pm, wondering whether tomorrow (i.e today) can get any worse.   I felt quite defeated and deflated.  Maybe my stars are not “aligned”.  Maybe I have a bad seating arrangement in the office. Or in my room.  Maybe I need to consult a Feng Shui master.  Maybe it’s just pure bad luck happening in a short space of time.  Who knows?
