Shakira is bootylicious

My car is at the workshop, being operated upon as we speak.   I spoke to the mechanic and the potential damage could run up to RM1k.  Yes, you got that right.  Not a typo.  RM1k.

Anyway, I attended a meeting near my house at 10am, which by the way Jamie, if you’re reading this, explains why my car was not at the car park this morning.  Hiya, enough about cars.  Very painful to talk about that now.  Thanks though, Jamie and pm26 for your words of support.

On my way back to the office I received a call from John who informed me that he was in the vicinity of my office area.  He asked if I was free for lunch.  Of course I was!  I called the rest of the gang but ALL of them couldn’t make it for various reasons.  Jamie had a working lunch meeting (very TNS, in my opinion), Kenneth’s laptop was spoiled and he had to send it to HP; Newton had made other plans; Ronnie was having lunch around his office area.  Too bad! We decided to meet at Citibank.  While I was waiting for him I bumped into Newton who was waiting to go for his lunch appointment.  John arrived some minutes later and we decided to go to Level 5 of Citibank and have lunch.  We both had very healthy lunches- Chapatti.  I’ve been having Chapatti of late because in the past few days I’ve been eating unhealthily.  I polished off 1 Pandan Swiss Roll in one sitting 2 days ago, and yesterday I had another half, before deciding to pass the rest to my colleagues.  Plus, I’ve been eating lots of oily food since Friday.

It didn’t really help that I experienced a small bout of diarrhea last night.  I woke up sometime in the night with stomach pains and groggily went to the toilet to purge.  That threw off my sleeping pattern and I found it hard to go back to sleep again after that.  I probably stayed awake for another hour or so.  Thankfully though this morning’s meeting was near my house so I managed to get in some sleep up to 830am.

Coach wasn’t at track yesterday and without a hard taskmaster staying on top of us barking out orders, the pace really slackened.  Coach’s son Ah Meng conducted the training session but many of us (myself included) became lazy.  I was really tired too.  It’s not really an excuse because I probably would’ve run harder and better had Coach been there.

Well, it’s just a few hours away from KLCC park.  I heard Tey will be there.  John told me he’ll be there too.  If everyone turns up today, it will be nice group of runners.
