I'm knackered!
I am extremely tired.
The past few days have been pretty exhausting for me. Ive been going to bed late and waking up really early. Had loads of things to do, work-wise, and personal life-wise. Going to bed at 1230am (but falling asleep only an hour later, dunno why, been having trouble falling asleep) and waking up by 6:00am. Running-wise I am also affected. In any event Ive been running lower mileage since the 15k race, although the intensity has increased. After several months of high mileage, it is natural that my body is telling me to run less.
Monday was a 7 lapper at KLCC; Tuesday was track, consisting of 4 x 400m, 3 x 800m, and 5 x 400m. Somehow I survived Tuesday track. The workouts seemed very tough. I just chose not to think about how fatigued I was and just ran. Wednesday was an 8 lapper at KLCC, with Ronnie.
Today (Thursday) is no different. Was up since 6:00am. This time I couldnt hold on- I slept in my car for an hour before going to the office. I had to go to the Registrar of Companies to attempt obtaining the Memorandum and Articles of Association of a company. Due to the highly efficient nature of the Registrar of Companies (all or at least most civil servants work at a very slow, 12:00 per km pace) I failed to obtain the Memorandum and Articles of Association because it is not in their computer archives. They explained that I had to fill in a Search form in which I presume they will scour their entire office for it, and then charge you for it! Ridiculous! Shouldnt the M&A already be in the archives? And if it isnt, why should we be charged for their failure to put the M&A in their archives??
Its track today and as Im typing this, Im looking out the window and the skies seem gloomy, but dont appear to be threateningly dark. Although Im tried, I will head to Kg Pandan. Who knows? There may be some source of inspiration for me to run.
This Saturday will be the Pacemakers Anniversary Run, organized by Ronnie, in conjunction with the 1st anniversary of the formation of the Pacemakers gang. I am one of the volunteers assigned to keep all luggage/belongings of the runners and also sit at the 950 meter mark, as a checkpoint. Gotta make sure that the runners dont take any short cuts!
Well its close to 615pm. Chao

Better becareful you don't get burned out. You should take about 3 conseccutive days off if there NO upcoming races. 3 days off has no effect on stamina or speed.
wei wei.... take it ez la... get some rest. sleep well. listen to haizad. and, psst.. if u see me at your checkpoint, cut me some slack will ya?
