Check out the new Pussycat Dolls video- The song is called BEEP!

Visiting all the runners'/triathletes' blogs depresses me somewhat because I don't have as much time (anymore) as they do to train. It's nice to read about what they're up to, how their training is going, what races they're running, but at the same time it makes me envious that I'm not doing the same. I try to console myself with the fact that I'm still running- albeit at a lower level and intensity, and at 11pm onwards most nights, on the treadmill. So, I'm still somewhat fit. Fitter than the average sedentary couch potato, that is. Another attempted point of consolation is that running is a lifelong activity, and that I still have many years of running left in me. Training is all about peaks and valleys, and I'm going through (actually at this point, it feels more like staying PUT) the valley. I hear the story of Don Khor and feel inspired by the fact that he's running/cycling/swimming his best times despite taking a 10 year hiatus. So, here's to Der Rabbit hitting his marathon PR at the grand old age of 40.

Those out there with time to train, enjoy and make the most out of it.
